Third party Fund selection
Cornèr Bank offers its clients an investment fund selection service for funds available on the
Swiss and international markets. Funds are selected according to qualitative and quantitative
criteria determined by our Bank. The Fund Selection team helps our private banking and
institutional clients to choose the product that best fits their investment requirements.

Valuation criteria

- Quality of the manager: investment philosophy, financial instruments used, stability of the management team.
- Size of the fund: minimum assets under management
- Performance: historical analysis of performance in the various market phases, relative to the benchmark and as a function of the risk
- Liquidity: funds for which redemption of units or shares is easy are favoured
- Concentration: priority is given to funds which have a greater degree of diversification than other funds which produce the same performance
- Consistency of results: continuing consistency of objectives and performance
- Volatility: volatility of the fund compared with the volatility of the market
